Campaign 21

WAPCA is making an urgent request for funds to replace its field vehicle. The vehicle is nearly ten years old and has endured such difficult terrain, that it now breaks down on a weekly basis.

 

The vehicle however is crucial to the success and effectiveness of our field work; our field coordinator uses it to visit communities to discuss the project, it works as a taxi service to bring community members together for meetings and training sessions and it is the main means of transport for the Rapid Response Team when alerted to illegal activity.

 

This vehicle is now becoming unreliable and needs replacing. We are launching Campaign 21 to ask 21 companies/organisations/individuals to donate €1000 each towards the purchase of a new vehicle.
